ResQME is an ingenious, award-winning auto escape tool that fits
comfortably on your keychain. Like it's big brother the Original
LifeHammer, it will easily break a tempered glass car window and cut a
jammed seat belt in seconds allowing you and your family to escape from
a sinking or burning car.
ResQMe contains a powerful, spring-loaded, stainless
steel punch that releases when pressed against a window shattering it
instantly. And it automatically resets itself so you can use it over
and over again. ResQMe is also equipped with a safely guarded razor
that will slice through a seat belt with ease.
Because the ResQMe attaches to your keychain, it can
travel with you (even if you're riding in someone else's car) so you'll
always be protected. We sell ResQMe's to Police, Fire & Rescue and
EMS departments all over the country so you know they are quality tools
that can save your life in an emergency. Every driver should have a
ResQMe on their keychain!
Length: 2.93"

Each year more than 10,000 people are involved in auto water immersion
accidents. Water immersion causes electric door locks and windows to
malfunction often trapping victims inside. Many motorists also become
trapped in "dry land" accidents when their doors and seat belts jam
while their cars are engulfed in flames. Many people don't know that most car windows
are made of tempered glass which is almost impossible to break without
a tool specially designed to do the job. The ResQMe will give you
"peace of mind" knowing that in an emergency you and your loved ones
can escape a burning or sinking car.
ResQMe is a high-quality keychain car emergency
escape tool. It contains a powerful, spring-loaded, stainless steel
punch that will shatter a side or rear tempered glass car window. To
activate the ResQMe punch, simply press the black cylinder (with the
small hole in the bottom) against a side or rear car window. It is
best if you target an area close to a corner since the window is more
rigid there and will shatter easily.
You can test the ResQMe by pressing it down firmly on an old book or
magazine as if it were a car window. You will feel the spring load and
then, when it releases, you will hear a "click". This test will put a
tiny mark in the book or magazine as if you tapped on it with a nail.
The ResQMe will instantly reset itself so it is ready to be used again
right away. Once you have tested the ResQMe in this fashion you will
know exactly how to use it if an emergency ever arises. Do not test it on a hard surface as this may dull the punch.
ResQMe also
includes a safely guarded razor that will easily cut through a jammed
seat belt. The razor is protected by a clip that has a hole in the end
used to attach it to your keychain. Once the ResQMe is attached to a
keychain it is easy to remove the clip just by holding the keys in one
hand and the ResQMe in the other and pulling. Even if the keys were to
be jammed in the ignition, the detachable clip allows the ResQMe to be
removed for use without having to remove the keys from the ignition.
ResQMe is made in the USA. We tested the ResQMe on car windows at a
junkyard and it works extremely well. Every driver should keep a
ResQMe on their keychain.
Please note that you should never attempt to break
a front windshield. It is made of "laminated" glass which consists of
two pieces of plate glass sandwiched together with a strong plastic
laminate in between. True "laminated" glass is not to be confused with
"after-market film lamination" used mainly for "tinting". After-market
"tinting" lamination will hold the broken glass in place but it can
be torn through by kicking on the window after the tempered glass has been shattered.
A few high-end cars are now available with true "laminated" glass side
and rear windows. There is no personal auto escape tool that will break
through "laminated" glass. Check with your car dealer if you suspect
that your side and rear windows are "laminated" (not after-market film
lamination).
