AlcoMate Mouth Pieces
The AlcoMate Mouth Piece #ALMTHPC are sold in packs of 50, 100, 250, 500, and 1,000.  They can be used in any of the following breathalyzers: AlcoMate AccuCell AL9000, AlcoMate Premium AL7000, AlcoMate Prestige AL6000, and the AlcoMate Core ALCORE.

AlcoMate "User-Changeable" Sensor Modules
The user-changeable sensor modules are different for the AlcoMate Premium (AL7000) versus the AlcoMate Prestige (AL6000).


AlcoMate Premium AL7000 PRISM Sensor
The AlcoMate Premium AL7000 PRISM Sensor is installed simply by opening the sensor door on the back of the breathalyzer, removing the old sensor then plugging in the new one.









IMPORTANT: Before inserting the new sensor module, you should leave your device powered off, with the old sensor module and batteries removed for at least 5 minutes.


AlcoMate Prestige AL6000 Sensor 

There are two different sensor modules for the AlcoMate Prestige, a RED Sensor and a GREEN Sensor. The Prestige RED Sensor is used in AlcoMate Prestige breathalyzers purchased after December 2007. The Prestige GREEN Sensor is used in AlcoMate Prestige breathalyzers purchased before October 2007. 

If you purchased your Prestige between October and December 2007, or if you are not sure when you purchased it, you can look through the black slots at the upper back of the breathalyzer to see what color the sensor is.  Shinning a flashlight through the slots will make it easy to see if the sensor circuit board is red or green.        


How To Change A Prestige Sensor

Here's how to install a new sensor module in the AlcoMate Prestige (click on image to enlarge):

IMPORTANT: Before inserting the new sensor module, you should leave your device powered off, with the old sensor module and batteries removed for at least 5 minutes.


Prepare your AlcoMate Prestige.
Use a flat, sharp tool to carefully open the top cover.
Lift the breath tube to access the sensor module.

Remove the breath tube. It should remove easily.
Carefully raise the sensor module from the body. Do NOT detach the cable from the body.
Remove the cable from the slot underneath the sensor module.

Prepare a new pre-calibrated sensor module.
Insert the cable into the new sensor. Make sure the blue strip is toward the sensor, as shown.
Replace the sensor module into its original position.

Re-attach the breath tube directly on to the sensor. Make sure the front opening is aligned.
Re-attach the cover on to the top of the body. It should snap in fairly easily. 		Ready for Testing!
