The AlcoScan AL2500, now available in a chic matte black, is a convenient, easy-to-use, professional grade breathalyzer made for consumers.
It is operated by placing the breathalyzer about a half inch from your mouth and blowing sharply into a sensor located on the face of the device. Since there is no direct contact with the mouth the AL2500 is great at parties and social gatherings because many people can be tested without the need to change mouth pieces.
Because the AL2500 is a "blow-over" type breathalyzer (no direct mouth contact) the BAC (blood alcohol concentration) reading accuracy can be affected by wind, smoke and other external conditions.
