The AlcoMate Prestige is the first breathalyzer to feature a
"Replaceable" Pre-Calibrated Alcohol Sensor Module. It can be replaced
by the consumer without the need to send the breath alcohol tester back
to a service center.
Most breathalyzers must be shipped back to the
manufacturer every six to twelve months to be re-calibrated. The
AlcoMate Prestige eliminates this costly and time-consuming annual
event by offering "Do-It-Yourself" Replaceable Sensor Modules.
Using the AlcoMate Prestige to check your
Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) is simple. Just turn it on and wait for
the "beep" then blow into the mouth-piece until you hear another "beep"
(about five seconds). In just a few seconds the results are displayed
and a red warning light flashes if your blood alcohol level is over
0.05 %.
The
